Hinc Logistics Equipment AB’s privacy policy describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle, protect, store, transfer and delete your personal data.

Personal data is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a person, such as name, street address, e-mail address, IP address, telephone number, etc.

Personal data that we may process about you is:

  • Basic personal data such as name, address, telephone number and email

  • Financial information, e.g. for invoicing

As a general rule, we do not process any sensitive personal data and ask you not to send us any such information.

We exclusively use manual, non-automated, processing of your personal data.

The reason why we process your personal data is primarily to manage our existing customer relationship, or to invite you to a new customer relationship, e.g.:

  • To manage requests, quotes, customer orders, contracts, and billing/payments
  • To offer our services and products
  • To send marketing materials (information about us and our products)

We process personal data based on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interest (marketing)

There are no third-country transfers of personal data (to parties outside the EU and EEA).

  • Right to data portability – You have the right to ask us to provide you with your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format
  • Right to object – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data

If you believe that we have processed your personal data incorrectly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Please note that there may be certain exceptions or limitations to the aforementioned rights that may apply depending on the specific circumstances of your situation. In such cases, we will provide you with detailed information about the applicable exception or limitation and help you exercise your rights to the fullest extent possible, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Our relationship with you and the information we collect about you is solely for work-related purposes, and the information we collect says little or nothing about your private life. No sensitive data is processed. Your personal data is therefore processed from a business perspective in a way that we do not consider to be in conflict with your rights and freedoms as an individual.

We use e-mail as a tool to communicate marketing, but only with your consent in accordance with applicable marketing law, where consent is needed. You always have the option to withdraw your consent as set out below:

Please note that even if you opt out to receive marketing materials, you may still receive administrative information from us, such as order confirmations, invoices, and other communications regarding ongoing or completed business deals.

We strive to use as few cookies as possible on our website and therefore only use those cookies that are strictly necessary for the website’s functioning, e.g. obtaining your consent to store your contact details from our contact form.

No other tracking or similar cookies are enabled on our website, so that you can feel safe when browsing our website.
