Application
The innovative heat-resistant steel wedge EK 550 HOT enables the safe storage of hot coils up to an external temperature of 400 °C in the PKT Rollblock system. It is therefore possible to move directly to storage without prior cooling, allowing production processes to continue seamlessly and eliminating time-consuming intermediate steps.

The steel wedge EK 550 HOT fits into the standard economy rail made of galvanized steel and can easily be retrofitted into an existing Rollblock system.
The system can easily be adopted to different coil diameters by moving the coil stops to the next position in the rail and can be loaded with max 100 tons per storage space.
The installation, as well as the moving of the coil stops, is easily made by only one person and without the need for special tools.
